Community Clean Up Day North Tahoe The Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay and Crystal Bay communities will take to the streets to pick up trash. Register at 9 a.m. in each community. Fishing Derby Tahoe City
One hour before sunrise to high noon, take part in Jake’s On The Lake’s 19th annual charity fishing derby, brunch and raffle. Prize money is awarded to anglers who reel in the largest Mackinaw $1,000, Brown Trout $500 and Rainbow Trout $250. $50 donation includes entry, T-shirt, brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and raffle. Documentary showing Truckee See the premier of “First 70,” a documentary short that showcases California’s 70 majestic state parks, at 8:30 p.m. at Moody’s.
